The Most Expensive Pie

Last Friday, my mom's bday, I decided to bake lemon meringue pie to get rid of the lemons and of course to celebrate. After I've prepared all the ingredients and made the crust, I was supposed to bake the crust first. So, I put it into the heated oven. Just seconds later, the oven just shuts down in a blink of an eye. I thought it was power failure but the radio was still on and working. So, I tried to restart the oven but it was a total failure! I really can't believe the oven breakdown at the most crucial possible moment! It was not even half baked! I just baked lemon bars about 2 days ago and the oven worked perfectly but now...ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! While I was preparing the filling of the pie, I phoned my dad and he suggested to use the turbo broiler to continue baking. Despite the warning on the pie dish that it can't be used in a broiler, I just used the broiler to continue baking. Desperate already wert. What to do....The result of the pie is as shown below...
The heat in the broiler is uneven. Therefore, it's brown one-sidedly but it tasted great though. Thankfully....

The next day, the repairmen came to look at the oven and said that it probably couldn't be repaired already. So, I guess my dad had to start oven-shopping already. I bet a new oven will cost at least RM2000.....That's why this is 'the most expensive pie'....
