Year 2008

I know!It's been a long time already...dat's cos i'm not used to blogging.People keep bugging n asking me bout wat happened during dat year after secondary school n I hv to tell again n again.

So, here it is...

Jan&Feb- Nothing special...just celebrated CNY n bday parties n violah!Feb over d.



March- Moved to Penang to take up A-Level Science at Disted-Stamford College. I took 4 subjects all together.General Paper, Pure Maths(diff from Further Maths which is harder), Chem & Bio. Stayed at Midlands Condo during da whole course. My housemates are all lovely n cute...They r Rou Hui, Sheh Ching, Sharon &Wey Yi. My roommate is Sharon from Bkt. Mertajam but she's not around often. Wey Yi moved out during mid-year n Sharon during August/Sept. So, left poor me, Mini(Rou Hui's nickname cos she's small n cute) & Ching Ching. Coincidentaly, Mini is from Taiping too! So, we plan to car pool. At college, met some new coursemates from diff places. Mostly not from Penang. Not only dat. We got closer to Ching Ching's coursemates too cos they visited our hostel quite often. Apart from dat, we get to know other hostelmates cos we usually sit da same transport to n fro from college. I even met Amy who is an ex-Convent student.

For the 1st time ever, went to cinema n karaoke center, GSC n Red Box respectively at Gurney since we just live bout 5 min walk from Gurney Plaza. Hv lots of fun wif Mini, Sharon & Ching Ching.



April-Went back Taiping for the 1st time after moving to Penang. I went back Taiping many times mainly cos my big sis was travelling to Penang many times for her job interviews & apartment hunting. Also, I hv my JPA interview but sadly I din get it. Struggle with studies too cos I dunno why I'm crazy enuf to take a 9-months crash course.



May-Sis got a job n moving to Penang to live wif my aunt temporarily. After many visits to many diff apartments in Penang, bought an apartment at last!Yippee! Since she's staying at Penang, she'll drive me back to Taiping bout once every 3 weeks.


For da 1st time, Sharon brought me, Ching Ching n Mini to da music festival at Botanical Garden. We had a blast there though some of da music r quite boring but some of them r reli great.



June-There goes my break cos we hv to attend Malaysian Studies classes. Hv to make a presentation n mid-year exam. Only March intake students r involved cos da Jan intake students had gone through this grueling n torturing course. BUT!we oni hv to pass da sub!hehe..

This is da 1st time spending my birthday away from family. So, it's diff this year. Hv a great bday thanks to all of my housemates.

Da new semester starts da following week after dat. This time, da March intake student will merge wif da Jan intake. We had a shock n hv a hard time adjusting cos there r more than a hundred of students in a class even though we've been spilt into 2 classes. Therefore, less attention from lecturers. But, on da bright side, we make more frens. It's very funny to see us 'chup' da front seats in classes. Nasty!

This month also marks a historical day in my life! My housemates n I got complains from neighbours for being noisy everyday according to da student affair person. Dat neighbour said dat if we din stop making noises he'll call police! N then we go WTF! Our apartment oni hv 4 person living there dat time n we already got da complains. Anyway, after da student affair person interogated us, we found out dat da air conds condensor is da problem! It makes loud noises once in a while. Later, it took them so longgggggg to repair it!



July-The hostel where I'm staying is actually reli sucks! We finally get our internet line after bugging for months! The TV oni hv a few channels to watch & it needs to be 'warmed up' before watching. During our stay in our hostel, it's uncountable how many times da repairman came.Barely everything needs fixing! Water heater, fridge, air cond, cupboard n even toilet bowl!



August-Got admitted to hospital again. This time is more suffering cos dat genius doc don't wanna give me antibiotics!Ouch!

During this month too my sis got her new car. So, I get her old wan to drive round Penang! Parking is a prob in Penang...either parking fee too expensive or no parking lots at all.


Sept-Having my trial exams. Dunno how to cram last minute studies into my head. I even hv to miss my sis's graduation day on a saturday cos I'm havin my GP exam there n then on dat day.



Oct-Got my trial exam results!WTH!so bad!But it's too late to turn back dat time. I'm sitting for both AS Level & A2 Level exams altogether while others oni take either AS orA2. I think it's oni 4 or 5 of us taking all at a time. Real exam is this month though...My 1st REAL exam is paper 3(practical) Chem n guess wat happened? I hv a flat tyre! of all those possible time...it's only bout half an hour before my exam starts! Luckily my coursemate, Chia Wen willing to come back from college to fetch me...thanks a lot! Owe her very much!

In da middle of my exam, when I thought things couldn't get any worse than dat my grandma passed away! She passed away da next day after I went back Taiping. Glad dat I get to see her for da last time...May she rest in peace...There goes my studying time...spent mourning for my grandma n for her funeral.



Nov-Finished my exam!Hooray! But it's time to say bye bye to everybody...

Moved out from my hostel & complete every procedure dat gotta be finished with Disted. Can be very frustrating n angry when dealing with Disted's staff! I found out dat they r irresponsible & unsure of wat they should do ever since I entered da college.Already missing housemates & da rest!



Dec-Enjoying freedom...muahahaha
